William Lacalmontie is a French photographer born in 1986.
Passionate about music and cinema, with a degree in Art History and a degree in photography from the Ecole des Gobelins, he has worked mainly as a portrait painter since 2012 for the music and film press and film festivals, with a predilection for B&W and its timeless and elegant dimension.
By keeping the same approach and the same desire to deliver intensity and fragility, photographic reporting and video have naturally been added to the occasion of musical or documentary clips.

William has worked for Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, American Express, and for the magazines Omnivore FoodBook and Feux Vif by Lavazza…
His portraits are published by Telerama, Le Parisien, Le Figaro, The Guardian, RollingStone, Vice, …
