Douce always wants to create a strong bond with her environment or the person photographed to get the most beautiful stories out of it. On the frontier between fashion and reportage, her pictures bear witness to vibrant and colorful moments.
Her experience in production and her practice of street photography, help her to create a careful staging while keeping spontaneity in her shots.
Douce began her career in music and advertising in Paris, London and Singapore before going full time into fashion and reportage photography in Hong Kong. Now back in France, she still travels regularly for various photographic projects. Her work has been featured in local and international newspapers (dailymail, HKFP, CreativeBoom, L’Officiel, Le Figaro…) and described as “a collection of poetic and surprising moments” Oct. 2019 Fisheyes Magazine.
